Definitely thinking about going but might have company in town then, won't know until it get closer. Of course I will probably miss the preorder deadline :wall:

Would definitely like to get a group going if I can make it.

Hope you can make it. I already got the day off as I usually work on Saturdays. Prefer to go with a group and rep the Hummers, but I'll go solo if it ends up that way and I'll show'em what's up.

Hopefully I can make and will keep you posted. More than likely at least some of the group from Hard Rock will be going. That won't help in representing Hummer but some familiar faces.

My son has surgery March 30th, so this would be a good way to get him some trail time before he is out of commission for a few weeks and a good way to kick off the spring. I'll see if we can make it.

Got an email from the promoter the other day inviting us to come out and join. They are also offering free club parking with preregistration by Feb 20th. Will have to work out my schedule and see if this even is going to work. Try to get as many Hummers out there as we can.

That would be awesome to get at least a few Hummers out there. I'll just be sticking to the Stock course this year. Depending on what vehicles I see doing the Modified course, I may think about it but I would like to have new heavy duty bushings for my front diff. and steering rack reinforcement from Outfitter Design before I attempt it and that won't happen until later this year.

Hopefully you guys can go. I added a link for the Market Of Marion pre-registration forms and rules in the very first post above.

Got the Outfitter Design steering rack reinforcement kit sitting here on my desk waiting to go in. Have never been and not see their courses but the H3 can certainly handle a lot of stuff that other vehicles have to be modified to tackle.

Thanks for adding the links.

May, and its a huge may, be able to make this.
We are headed to Disney that week anyway. So maybe I can talk to the wife into stopping in Ocala Sat-Sun.

Does anyone know if they will have trailer parking/hookup?
We were already towing our camper to Disney and it would be nice to stay in it out there.

Here's a vid of the Stock course last year:

Here's one of the Modified course last year but during Jeeptoberfest, which is held in the same spot:

Watched the stock video, 95% of that was really tame but absolutely great for beginners like the guy that shot the video. Will have to check out the modified section tomorrow.

I don't think they have hookups but will double check that. If not there are all kinds of places around that area where you could stay with full hookups. Won't be right there but will at least be close.

There is definitely a big jump from stock to modified courses. The stock course you probably wouldn't have to shift out of 4hi. I think the only thing that might prevent a stock H3 from doing the modified course would be break over clearance. Apart from that shortcoming (which is actually very good for stock) I didn't see anything on that course an H3 couldn't do. The rock garden at the end would be fun but would take more spotting than the lifted modded Jeeps. Would love to see a bunch of stock Hummers running that course in front of everyone  8)

Of course would have to see them in person, very hard to get a true feel for the obstacles in photos or videos. I am very impressed with the courses they do setup. I expected them to be much shorter, took a lot of work.

There are not going to be any hookups but trailers are welcome. There is a dump station on site though.

Modified definitely looks more challenging and as for myself, a little apprehensive about rocks without the steering rack upgrade.

Stock course is 1.5 miles long; should be plenty enough fun.
