well took Heidi, her daughter and her friend to CK today....what an easy trail now .. the County/Forest service ran a BLADE!!!
from (the old ending) the upper forest road down thru the whole upper 2-4 miles of the trail!!!!! that takes you to the old fallen down mill and 3 water tanks..
wow..not my favorite trail anymore..
didnt start on dirt till nearly 1030 I bet and we went to CK had lunch at Mill then down dirt to Bumble Bee at 17 by like 345...WAY easy trail now..
Seems most of the obstacles after where the H3 broke last trip have been filled with dirt and MANY places filles with rocks by other "users"
Discouraging that people lacking skills and equipment will make this once fun trail a freeway.. now there are a few short fun spots left but not enough to make you wanna run it 3+ times a year like I used to do...

That's odd - Sandbar ran it a week ago and said it was more washed out than before . . .

If thats the case I would gather that he was refferring to the upper part aswell...The owner at Mill Restaurant said it was done recently...
There was a few stretches on the road were dirt is washed away creating a cobblestone type surface to drive on...
otherwise cant imagine where it would be worse...the area with the cattle guard and rock step..all filled in with
small rocks..if you recall thats where the Monster got its belly hung up...with 8" of lift..now stockers drive right up...then that
last real obstacle where you drive thru the mill remains then hard left down thru and up from creekbed...
once you clear that and get up hill .... thats where the blade came down too...all the way back to forest rd
