Saw that in another thread, what's the story? You don't wheeling completely or just for now?

im not done wheeling by any means...just done wheeling the tacoma...ive had a lot of *close* calls with flops lately and i really HATE to screw up how nice my tacoma still is...

my goal is to purchase a '79-'82 toyota short bed pickup and build it up into a completely trail only rig...one where flops and body damage dont hurt...and one where if i break something i can let it sit until i can afford to fix it rather than HAVE to fix it right away...

I know Dads and I discussed something in May, but we must have had a little miscommunication. I will not be able to wheel anywhere on the 16th. It's my son's bday party. With that said.....I MIGHT be up for a day run somewhere on the 24th (since the 25th is Memorial Day). But my warranty is just about up (finally..I know)....and it's looking like unless the $$/economy turns around...then my wheeling days are going to be very limited.

Thats right I forgot about your sons big day, sorry bout that Hollie. Do we want to 86 the trip for a later date? Maybe June? I might just just for the hell of it. Larry's not up for that red clay and I can understand that.

Not sure if I am going to be able to make it yet but will try to figure it out soon. If so, we can take a relatively small group to River Rock in late July with Gator's club.
