Trigger's attempt at an Aussie H3

Hi there
I am new to both forums and to building a decent 4wd so bear with me. Started with Adventurer and thus far have done the following:
Raised tension on torsion bar
Moto Metal rims all round and new boots to suit
120 watt solar panel on roof rack
Battery gauge and Anderson plug in the grill, for the camper fridge and lights
Electronic rust prevention
Underbody rust protection
Side rails
Tow bar for Camper trailer and those trips to Bunnings
Jerry can holder to replace that ridiculously heavy spare on the rear door
(Note: jerry can carries shower water for camping on the beach not fuel)
And now for the big one - 5.3L Chev Colorado motor (shipped from US as we don't get a 5.3 Litre motor here)
Twin high flow cats
High performance chip
Twin thermo fans to replace manual belt driven fan
New radiator and shroud to suit thermos

So there's my start anyway, hope you enjoy my photos as they get posted.
Thank you and happy, safe four wheel driving.

Needless to say now I've finished the motor, I now have my old LLR 3.7 litre with everything up for sale. It has all of the bellhousing, wiring loom, intake, O2 sensors, alternator, starter, serpentine belts, engine mounts and many more bits and pieces to go. Apparently I believe it may also fit the Rodeo and possibly Holden Colorado.
The whole lot is in good condition and the motor has only done less than 28 000 km. it is available on 0417753599 and I 'll throw in the engine leveler for free. Thank you for reading my blog.

Welcome to HXC. Sounds like you have been busy, look forward to seeing pics. How was the 5.3 swap? What kind of mods did you have to do to make it work? I did it the simple way by trading my '06 with the 3.5 for an Alpha  but I know myself and a number of others would be interested.
