I can't make it :-(

Big fundraiser that weekend for The Rubicon - Hugs N'Jugs Dennis Mayer Mammorial Run - she-wheelers only - and we sell tickets for the One Lone Wolf / Cabana Boy who gets to be the keeper of said 30+ ladies and their rigs.

If you can't make NVTR - you can always buy a ticket.
WARNING: It's not a "MOD" till the sawzall comes out, and then it's all downhill from there

Sorry, I prefer to be "the keeper" of women who can't change a tire.

NEVADA TROPHY 2010
HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
(July 30- Aug 1, 2010 )

http://www.offroadexperience.com

Due to lack of entries this year, the Nevada Trophy has been cancelled by the Board as of June 22, 2010. In a statement issued by NVTR creators Michael Green, John Gulliford & Rob Whitaker.

It's a shame, but the economy and outrageous gas prices is killing fun/competitive events such as this. We just can't run it at a loss.

NVTR was established in 1996 as a poormans Camel Trophy, a friendly 4WD Team Competition event. The format is based on GPS Navigation in search for waypoints (something we now know as Geocaching. Yes we pre-date this treasuring hunting!), and Special Tasks, thus earning points to determine a winner.

Good times and great memories have been had by all. We hope to see NVTR again in the future. We thank all those that participated and volunteered their time over the years.

Wow, that is terrible. It's sad too see the economy take such a toll.

Update: I got an email from the organizers. Seems the people who were signed up are pretty upset it has canceled and are trying to get enough teams together to have the event.

Maybe we could get at least one more team together?

This is a fun event that you won't regret. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJnpHH5gbFM
