I actually don't mind the weather here. Hot, yes, but not the Anza Borrego hot.

That would be shine sir 8)

edit:

The move went well :yup:
Left Wed AM got to east TN about 6:00 PM local time (EST). no broken stuff, just minor bumps and bruises. The dogs were barely noticed in the back of the Yukon, the kids however :wall:
Already taken the family truckster and tossed her into 4 wheel and got some of this fine red mud on her 8) ( I told the Mrs. that it was a dirt parking lot-she didn't believe me either :wall: )

Just got the satelite internet hooked up and will be on from time to time.

He has arrived. Congrats on the successful move. Satellite internet, huh, interesting. How come only once in a while? They charge you by min. or kilobyte?

Because I am not sittin in front of a company computer 11 hours a day and satelite is all I got out here. No DSL, no cable, hell I barely get cell reception.

but for as half-assed remote I might be in the country side, I fired 2 dozen rounds outta a rifle and no one even cared 8)

Check THISout. We have used them with good results, but had Nextel compliant units which are more expensive. They amplify cell and air card signal and will keep you from beating your head against a wall in the boonies. I'm actually surprised to say that we were just recently able to stop use....IN CA!

Thx for the link there StJames!
Adjusting to country life very well 8) I have neighbors, but I see more of their livestock than of the people that own the livestock :yup: got to do some backyard wheelin with the family truckster, in my backyard btw 8)
I got working again with Ford and it is going well. the new Raptor's are bad-azzzzzzz too
Looking forward to fall so we can start prep work for spring planting-hey Beavis, going to need to borrow your green thumb o' knowledge.

All told, it was a good move and the family is digging TN. The kids and dogs have room to run, the worst thing I have to worry about them getting into is the occasional deer droppings.

Do you have any idea what USDA zone you are in?

Also, if you have deer, your going to need to contain plants from them eating them to the ground.
