Fort Scott is the closest town of any real size to KS Rocks. The trails are typically pretty muddy this time of year, but it has been unseasonably dry so far. Most of the trails involve steep, narrow climbs up loose rock. It can be an IFS killer if you're not careful. Since the park is really crowded for Frostbite, I typically stick to the main trails and the occasional easy or moderate rated trails. The park has the reputation of being a Jeep park because the trails are so tight it's hard to get full size rigs in there. However, there's plenty of trails that will accommodate a H3 if you are careful. I'm bringing my Deuce, but that's mainly for a Hummer show of force.
