Check your PM. Lynette says they expect to be at the gate at 10:30. It may be earlier though.

A bunch. Last year there were over 100. I am not sure if there will be that many this time, but I hope so. It's a very worthy cause.

My truck will be quite full of toys - I am so very excited - and my brother fabbed up a cool flag pole for a full size Stars and Stripes today. Does anyone know if it is illegal to drive with a full size American Flag flying behind my truck on the freeway?

Also, I emailed Lynette about a month ago and I never got a reply. Is that expected? Should I call her this week also?

See you all bright and early next Saturday. Anyone in the Valley want to carpool to Tustin?

Would Nintendo DS games be appropriate as gifts for these tots?

That is very cool. Good job collecting so many toys. Last year there were people with full blown flags flying. Besides even if it wasn't legal, I wouldn't think a cop would pull you over for flying the stars and stripes with a load of toys in a Hummer caravan. It just would be anti-American.

As for the email, don't stress, all she needed was a head count. If you need a response, try her again, if not, just show up and it will be good.

Yeah, I think that would be cool. Toys are especially wanted for 12-17 year olds so that would seem age appropriate. :)

Hate to do this... but I'm out ya'll... The City in it's infinite wisdom scheduled mandatory bomb squad training on our T-f-T date.

I'm dropping off my collectected toys with a fellow Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick brother... whom is Seargenat Major at 1st BN 1st Marines.

Have a safe run for "OUR" children~
Cheers-

If you'd like, we can meet up and I can take the toys on Saturday. We live pretty close.

What if they don't have a DS? Which is probably unlikely.
